Configuration Notes and User Comments
When a configuration is created, a notes file is created. This contains information about
- Who created the file
- When it was created
- Who has loaded the file
- Who has saved the file
- When the file was loaded and saved
- Changes made to channel settings from elsewhere in the GUI.
The notes file is shown in the general configuration page, as shown below:

- Existing user comments attached to this configuration.
- Blue icon indicates an automated comment
- Yellow icon indicates a user comment
- Type in a new user comment here
- Click on the save button (or press Ctrl + E), then confirm that you want to add the comment typed in; it will appear in area 1.
- By default, “Truncated notes” is ticked whenever you enter the screen, load a configuration file or create a new configuration file. It restricts the display area to only show the last 100 changes that have been made to the configuration. This improves the loading speed of this screen. To view all the changes, simply uncheck the box.
