Channel Config: DC Calibration

Setting up the Calibration

The following screenshot shows a close up view of the DC calibration tab:

DC cal items are similar in principle to AC cal items, allowing calibrating multiple channels together.

The user must enter between 2 and 20 DC EU values into the grid in the pop-up panel. Each EU will be used to represent a steady-state DC level that is used during calibration.

Once a user has specified some EU points, they will be able to select the DC Calibration button on the bottom panel to initiate a DC calibration.

Calibration Screen

During calibration, the user will take some measurements against each of the EU values entered in the DC cal tab. The DC calibration screen is similar to the AC calibration screen, but has some specific features:

  1. Shows the DC level measured
  2. Show the corresponding EU, which is the EU of the current calibration point.
  3. Show the index of the current calibration point we are on.
  4. Once the measurement has been taken for the current calibration point (point captured and accepted), the user can move to the next calibration point.
