Stacked Conditioning
All the conditioning modules in the range are 8 channels and fit on a standard footprint. The main features of the stackable system are as follows:
- Multiple functions can be stacked together into a maximum 3 card stack
- Supports Voltage, IEPE (ICP), Dynamic Strain and Bridge Strain simultaneously through physical wiring and software control
- <3W dissipation maximum per card.
- 80kHz+ Bandwidth
- Fully programmable for a variety of functions, integrated into HGL software
- User changeable for changing requirements.
- Common power, control and signal interfaces with Dragonfly card.
All stacked systems require a baseboard module which provides all the power supplies and ancillary communications required for the conditioning function cards. This leaves a maximum of two card locations for use with function cards.
The standard stacked configuration for ‘universal’ conditioning includes an AC board with AC Voltage, IEPE, and Dynamic Strain capabilities, and a DC board with DC voltage and Bridge capabilities. The specification off these two card types is provided below.
Stack Module AC Card (IEPE & Dynamic Strain)
Description
An AC signal conditioning Daughter Board for Dragonfly capable of operation with up to 8 off IEPE inputs or up to 8 off Dynamic strain gauge signals using constant current supplies.
The board is designed to stack with the Base Board and if required, a DC signal conditioning Daughter Board.

Stack Module DC Card (Bridge Strain)
Description
A DC signal conditioning Daughter Board for Dragonfly. Capable of operation with up to 8 off static strain gauge inputs using constant voltage supplies, or up to 8 off voltage inputs. The card includes internal completion for ½ bridges, and Auto Balance.
The board is designed to stack with the Base Board and if required, an AC signal conditioning Daughter Board.
