General Tips

  •         Checking the Ethernet connection on all of the units is always the best first step. Additionally, try pinging the units that you are supposed to be able to communicate with.
  •         It is always possible that a power cycle is needed on either the computers or acquisition units. It may take a moment for the acquisition devices to restart. Computers can be shut down via clicking the power button on the front, or by shutting them down through the Windows Start Menu.
  •         If you are seeing an error you may want to try repeating the step just to ensure you weren’t clicking too quickly for the system and everything wasn’t set up yet. I.E. retry configuring, retry scanning after seeing an error, or if you see a configuration error reload a configuration even if it is already loaded.
  •         Additionally, if you are unsure what the problem is and it is potentially a configuration issue, try creating a new configuration from scratch.
