Notes

  1. IP address cannot be 0.0.0.0.
  2. Port number cannot be 0.
  3. From firmware version V1.2 onwards, this block can be reset to defaults by a DIP switch combination at power-up; see IP block reset in the Hardware section.

Interrogating firmware version

The *IDN? command returns a string in the form "FYLDE ELECTRONIC LABORATORIES,FE707EC,01V3,0606/732". This string contains four fields, separated by commas:

  1. manufacturer ("FYLDE ELECTRONIC LABORATORIES")
  2. model ("FE707EC")
  3. firmware version (major and minor versions separated by "V", thus "01V3" represents V1.3)
  4. controller card serial number ("0606/732")

Notes

  1. ATZ command runs auto-zero sequence, and applies it.
  2. AZO command removes any previously-applied auto-zero correction.
  3. ATZ? command not yet supported.
  4. ATZ? command should be used no sooner than 2s after ATZn command has been issued.
  5. FE759TA: AZO support added at V1.5.
